Pear Tree Farm is situated close to the market town of Towcester in South Northamptonshire just off junction 15a M1 and 20 min from junction 10 on the M40. We keep rare and traditional breeds of poultry, which includes laying hens and other large fowl, bantams and ducks. We have become particularly recognised for the various colours of sablepoots (booted bantans) and lemon cuckoo Nieder-Rheiner as featured in February 2005's issue of Practical Poultry. Keeping poultry is a hobby, which has resulted in the collection of many breeds and has of late taken us on the show trail.
